Epicenter is a literary management and production company with an emphasis on character-driven material. We are focused on identifying and guiding the careers of emerging creative voices that stand out in an increasingly crowded marketplace.
Starting with a handful of talented and diverse clients in 2012, Epicenter has become a premier home of excellent material for all genres and audiences. Specializing in finding new talent and honing raw underserved voices, Epicenter has championed clients in features films and in TV staffing positions on shows such as FIRE COUNTRY, ORPHAN, GHOST: POWER BOOK II, I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER, AMAZING STORIES, THE PURGE, LAST MAN STANDING, THE POLITICIAN, THE GIRL FROM PLAINVILLE, TALES OF THE WALKING DEAD, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST and DR. DEATH. Clients have also sold projects to Dreamworks, TBS, USA, CW, CBS, Fox, Freeform, HBO, Netflix, Disney+, Amazon, Nickelodeon, Peacock, and Warner Bros. Epicenter’s most recent success stories include Steven Canals, who created the Emmy, Golden Globe, and Peabody-winning series POSE for FX; Will Berson, the Oscar-nominated co-screenwriter of JUDAS AND THE BLACK MESSIAH, and Brigitte Hales who wrote DISENCHANTED, which premiered on Disney+ in fall of 2022.
Epicenter also produced a low-budget thriller called 1BR, which made it to #1 on Netflix and stayed in the top 10 for many weeks and was featured on several “best horror films of 2020” lists.
